Walking with beasts in Coventry

Date Posted: 02/06/2011

Galleries one, two and three of Coventry’s Herbert Art Gallery & Museum will be hosting Walking with Beasts from the 2nd July until the 30th October.

Featuring large-scale models including woolly mammoths, sabre tooth cats, and Neanderthal man, along with skeletons and animatronic heads, this exhibition promises to be as engaging as it is visual.

Blue screen technology offers the opportunity for groups to be transported back in time, and walk on screen with the beasts. BBC’s Walking with Beasts exhibition aims to inform group visitors of these creatures, and the times during which they lived.
