Update at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

Date Posted: 01/01/2015

In 2015 groups will be able to take part in a range of new experiences at the museum dedicated to Scotland’s favourite son.

These experiences include tours led by costumed guides who take on the roles of people who would have known Burns in his lifetime.

Behind the scenes tours will also be led by expert curators and there will be the opportunity to gain access to the private part of the collection to see items that aren’t on display to the general public.

Groups in a hurry, meanwhile, can arrange to have group tours incorporated into an ‘express Burns’ supper’, which includes a tour of Burns’ cottage, a ritual address to the haggis and a two course meal, all in the space of an hour.

Group tour organisers can find out more about group rates and booking at www.nts.org.uk/traveltrade.
