Trevor Nunn season continues at TRH

Date Posted: 11/04/2011

Trevor Nunn is to direct a further two productions in his capacity as the Theatre Royal Haymarket’s artistic director: Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

The announcement follows critical acclaim of Terrance Rattigan’s Flare Path, directed by Nunn - the longest-serving artistic director and chief executive of the Royal Shakespeare Company (1968 to 1986) - and which opened at the Theatre Royal Haymarket last month.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is scheduled to run from the 16th June to 20th August, featuring a cast led by Samuel Barnett, Jamie Parker and Tim Curry. This limited run will be followed by The Tempest playing from 27th August to 29th October, starring award-winning actor Ralph Fiennes as Prospero.
