Travelsphere has announced that places such as Kenya, Botswana, Burma and Spain will headline its 2016 season.

Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe will be the main focus of the Southern Africa Explorer holiday, which is a 12-day journey between the three countries.

Opportunities along the way will include the chance to spot wildlife on safaris, relaxing on a cruise along the Zambezi River, taking in the sights of Okavango Delta and the experience of viewing Victoria Falls.

The Coast, Canyons and Dunes of Namibia trip on the other hand will focus solely on Namibia with a 14-day exploration of the country. Lions, rhinos and elephants are all expected to be spotted on this trip where groups can also see the rock art on Namibia’s ancient basalt mountains.

Nine days spent surrounded by animals is on the cards on the Kenya: Safari and Savannah Sunsets tour. It features up to six safaris across the vast savannahs of the Samburu National Reserve and the Masai Mara in Kenya where groups can track wildlife.

Alternatively, groups can take a journey through the Great Rift Valley, or try a post-safari sundowner drink out in the bush.

Travelsphere has also revealed a new foodie tour. Flavours of Spain’s Basque Country includes a tour of Bilboa, including the iconic Guggenheim Museum, entry to Santa Maria Catherdral and Palace de Navarrow and the chance to savour a traditional Spanish pintxos dinner.

New cruises for 2016, meanwhile, include the Pandaw River Cruise from Mandalay to Bagen or a trip sailing on the Irrawaddy River in Burma. These are just two of eight new all-inclusive cruises for this year.

Travelsphere’s head of product, Christina Hunter-Locke, commented, “Travelsphere is seeing a real demand for holidays to the Far East particularly Burma.

Our relaxing river cruise on the Irrawaddy allows our customers top sail right through the heart of Burma, while our Golden Burma escorted tour takes in main cities of Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Pindaya and Heho”
