Titanic Belfast opens to visitors

Date Posted: 11/04/2012

As we approach the centenary of the sinking of infamous ocean liner Titanic, the new Titanic Belfast visitor attraction has opened to the public.

The iconic six-floor building features nine interpretative galleries, as well as housing temporary exhibits, education and community facilities, plus catering and retail space.

Those booking a group visit can learn about the construction of RMS Titanic and the story of Northern Ireland’s industrial and maritime heritage. Interactive galleries - including Boomtown Belfast, Maiden Voyage, The Aftermath, and Myths & Legends - explore the sights, sounds, smells and stories of Titanic, as well as the city and people who made it.

Group travel organisers should note that parties of 15 plus are required to book in advance. Benefits for group bookings include a reduced admission fee plus fast track entry.
