Thomson reintroduces cruises from the UK

Date Posted: 26/03/2011

Thomson Cruises will be reintroducing cruises from the UK on Thomson Spirit from summer 2012.

The ship will be based in Newcastle from May to July and Harwich in August and September, sailing 15 different ex-UK itineraries taking in 39 destinations. Passengers can choose from an array of three to 14-night cruises, departing from these UK ports.

Thomson is also introducing a new British Isles cruise, enabling groups to discover the splendour of the Isles during this 11-night itinerary. The cruise will visit Guernsey, Dublin, Isle of Man, Isle of Mull, Orkney Islands, and Edinburgh.

Additional itinerary highlights include cruises to the Baltic, Icelandic and Norwegian Fjords regions. A one-off Weekend Affair cruise to Belgium and Holland aims to provide a great introduction for first-time cruisers, or for groups seeking a short cruise break.

To mark the launch of ex-UK cruises, Thomson is currently promoting a series of early booking offers, with benefits including a complementary on-board spend of up to £100, savings on cabin upgrades, and free coach parking or coach transfer to Harwich or Newcastle ports. This offer is available for all summer 2012 ex-UK cruises booked by the 30th June.
