Swinging 60s Experience back on the road

New dates have been announced for the Swinging 60s Experience, from October through to December, after sell-out summer tours.

The music themed tours will take your group on a trip back in time to experience the sights and sounds of the 60s through visits to some of London’s most iconic venues and locations.

About the tour

Running two tours per day, at 11am and 1:30pm, the experience includes hopping aboard the Swinging 60s Shuttle Bus before moving onto the Sixties at the Hall Tour at the Royal Albert Hall and enjoying an optional two-course lunch.

Aboard the original 60s London bus, you’ll pass by the Chelsea Drug Store, as immortalised by The Rolling Stones and Granny Takes a Trip, London’s first psychedelic boutique, whose clientele included the likes of Hendrix, The Beatles and Rod Stewart to name but a few.

The bus tour is accompanied by hit music with live commentary.

Upon arrival back at the Royal Albert Hall, you will be greeted by a tour guide before embarking on a journey into the hall’s role in that particular era of London’s cultural history - from welcoming The Beatles and The Stones on the same night, to witnessing Bob Dylan’s electric transition and even a Pink Floyd comedy night.

For those wishing to make a day of it, there is an option of adding a lunch in the hall’s on-site Verdi Restaurant; you can choose two-courses from an Italian-inspired set menu.

The whole experience takes three hours and 15 minutes including lunch or two hours without.
