The works of surrealist painter Joan Miró will come to London in the first major retrospective for nearly 50 years.

Exhibiting at the Tate Modern gallery from the 14th April to the 11th September, Joan Miró: The Ladder of Escape will be a rare opportunity to see more than 150 paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints from moments across the six decades of his career. Filling his paintings with luxuriant colour, Miró worked in a rich variety of styles, using a language of symbols that reflects his personal vision, sense of freedom and energy.

Discounted entry rates to the exhibition are available for parties of ten or more people. Tate Modern offers a variety of private tours and packages for groups.
