Spend Christmas at Warwick Castle

Date Posted: 31/10/2012

Warwick Castle offers a host of festive activities and entertainment for group visitors this Christmas.

The castle’s festive period runs from 1st December until 6th January, and guests will enjoy numerous activities, tours and displays, as well as festive decorations and a 25-foot Christmas tree.

Festive tours and trails

The winter torch-lit tours will take place every Sunday evening throughout December. Guests can explore the castle and experience how Christmas was celebrated through the ages.

The enchanted winter treasure trail is a treasure hunt around the interior of Warwick Castle, and runs every day.

Christmas parties and entertaining displays

Every day, the Earl and Countess of Warwick will host a Victorian Christmas party for visitors to get involved in. Aptly named Secrets and Scandals, the party uncovers over 1,000 years of castle history.

There are authentic displays of Georgian swordsmanship to watch in the central courtyard, and carol singing takes place every weekend, leading up to a main carolling event on 22nd December.

Explore Warwick Castle at discounted rates

Group travel organisers will find a 30 per cent discount on tickets when booking seven days in advance. There is also a 15 per cent discount if bookings are made two days before visiting.

Guests are able to tour Warwick Castle themselves, or as part of a guided tour.
