Southern Wales’s autumn food festivals

Anyone arranging a group trip to southern Wales this autumn can combine their group travel plans with one of the region’s top food festivals.

Highlights include:

Abergavenny Food Festival (15th & 16th September)
St Fagans Food Festival (8th & 9th September)
Great British Cheese Festival (22nd & 23rd September)
Bridgend Feastival (28th & 29th September)

Founded in 2002, the Abergavenny Food Festival boasts some of the biggest names in the food world for a series of demonstrations, master classes and exhibitions, with the town’s streets and market hall lined will local producers.

Showcasing some of the finest Welsh food and drink alongside a helping of history, St Fagans National History Museum will host the St Fagans Food Festival; while quirky foodie event The Great British Cheese Festival will be hosted in the grounds of Cardiff Castle.

Finally Bridgend Feastival, promoted as Wales’s alternative food festival, will take place in the town centre, promising an assortment of deliciously interesting foods.
