Secret London Walking Tours launches new Suffragette walking tour

Secret London Walking Tours has launched a new Suffragette City walking tour in London following the September release of the film, Suffragette.

Group travel organisers can book for parties of up to 25 to go on the walking tour, which reveals true stories about the women who battled for the vote during World War One.

Groups, led by a guide past historic points of interest, can learn about the struggles, the misfortunes and the successes of those who fought for women’s rights.

The tour navigates through the Westminster and Victoria areas, and points of interest include the Palace of Westminster, Caxton Hall, the Suffragette Memorial in Christchurch Gardens, and the site of the Millicent Fawcett Hall.

Further highlights include Emmeline Pankhurst’s statute in Victoria Tower Gardens, Whitehall, Downing Street and Trafalgar Square.

The tour will also take the group to some of the lesser known back streets behind Westminster Abbey.
