Royal Caribbean International reveals new excursions for adventure-seekers

Date Posted: 25/08/2015

Cruise fans looking for shore excursions with a thrill attached will find a selection of new options for adventure cruises launched by Royal Caribbean International, including sliding down boulders and playing laser tag in a jungle.

For some serious action, look no further than RCI’s active adventures. These range from abseiling through waterfalls and jumping off cliffs into natural pools in Portugal, to flying down six zip lines and two sky bridges (wooden treetop apparatus) in Charlotte Amalie (U.S Virgin Islands).

Sportier travellers can opt for a half day of laser tag along jungle paths in Mexico, or play five-on-five soccer in Spain followed by a traditional Spanish game of paddle tennis.

And if you’re after something less energetic but equally as thrilling, choose from various sightseeing tours. Highlights include exploring Rome in an Ape Calessino (an Italian vehicle), and a visit to a Buddhist temple complex in Bangkok.
