The Rolling Stones will be following in the footsteps of David Bowie with a 2016 London exhibition charting the band’s life and times.

The Saatchi Gallery in London will be home to the Rolling Stones’ Exhibitionism from 6th April 2016.

Exhibitionism promises to be the most comprehensive and immersive insight into the band’s 50-year history. It will take over nine galleries spread across two floors of the gallery and look back on every facet of their careers through the personal archives of band members.

These include over 500 previously unseen artefacts embracing art and design, film, video, fashion, performance, including a rare sound archive.

Keith Richards commented: “While this is about The Rolling Stones, it's not necessarily just about the members of the band.

“It’s also about all the paraphernalia and technology associated with a band like us, as well as the instruments that have passed through our hands over the years that will make the exhibition really interesting.”

Tickets for The Rolling Stones exhibition go on sale on 10th July.
