Palatial home for summer festival

Date Posted: 30/12/2014

Taking place in the open air of the Tudor Base Court during ten days in June, the Hampton Court Palace Festival combines music, food and fireworks.

The East Front Gardens open at 5.30pm, so visitors can wander around the food stalls and bars.

Alternatively, festival-goers can bring their own picnics to eat in the gardens before the entertainment starts.

Last year, the show featured international feel-good stars like The Beach Boys, Jamie Cullum, Jules Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and Jason Donovan.

Groups can email to organise visits.
