Paddington Trail opens

Date Posted: 04/11/2014

The red ribbon has been cut on London’s Paddington Trail.

Statues of one of the world’s most famous bears are now standing all over the capital, earmarking some of the city’s most famous locations, including the 02 Arena, Selfridges and, of course, Paddington Station.

The statues have been designed by a roll call of famous names. David Beckham’s design is called Golden Paws, Peter Capaldi’s is called Paddington Who? Boris Johnson’s is titled The Bear of London, and Stephen Fry’s is named Paddington the GREAT.

The official opening of the trail was timely, just ahead of the launch of the new movie Paddington on 28th November.

Full details of the trail are available through the website VisitLondon.com. The bears will be on display until the end of the year, when they will be auctioned off to raise money for the NSPCC.
