Outdoor Theatre at Pentillie Castle

Pentillie Castle will host a variety of theatre performances in the estate’s grounds.

This summer at Cornwall’s Pentillie Castle, three theatre groups will be performing three classic literary adaptations on an open air stage. 

Visitors will be able to explore the historic grounds of the castle before settling down to an evening performance on the old tennis lawn.

On Wednesday 17th June at 7.30pm, Illryia Theatre group will put on an adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ The Three Musketeers.

On Tuesday 21st July at 6pm, Chapterhouse Theatre Company will perform a version of Rudyard Kipling’s novel The Jungle Book.

On Wednesday 5th August at 7.30pm, Lord Chamberlain’s Men will act out Shakespeare’s romantic comedy Twelfth Night.

Catering firm Kernow Forno will be on hand to provide refreshments at each event.

Guests are permitted to bring low backed chairs or picnic blankets.
