Olivier Award-winning comedy opens at The Old Vic

Date Posted: 16/09/2011

Michael Frayn’s 1982 Olivier Award-winning comedy Noises Off is to preview at The Old Vic from the 3rd December, currently booking until the 25th February.

Promoted as a hilarious play within a play, Noises Off follows an amateur touring production as it travels around the country. From the disastrous dress rehearsal to the final performance of missed cues and forgotten lines, the production portrays the explosive personal relationships that lead to off-stage shenanigans and on-stage bedlam.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, casting is yet to be announced. Performance times are Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Groups of ten or more people can take advantage of discounted tickets.
