Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its autumn and winter 2017/18 itineraries, including a full season in Australia and New Zealand for the Norwegian Jewel.

Beginning on 3rd October 2017, Norwegian Jewel’s inaugural Australasian itineraries will stop at a number of ports as the ship sails from Vancouver to Sydney.

Highlights of Norwegian Jewel’s season in Australia include seven Sydney round-trip cruises featuring a five-night Sydney-Tasmania-Sydney cruise departing on 12th November 2017.

Groups can also opt for a nine-night voyage visiting regional destinations including Eden, Kangaroo Island and Tasmania’s Burnie, departing 14th December 2017.

Norwegian Jewel’s ten to 16-night Australia and New Zealand itineraries depart between November 2017 and February 2018, with further highlights including cruising through New Zealand’s Milford Sound and the Bay of Islands.

The ship will also make its way from Sydney to Singapore on an 18-night adventure departing 20th February 2018, during which groups can enjoy the best of Darwin, and a visit to the Komodo Island.

In a nod to Norwegian Jewel’s new homeport, guests will be treated to local Australian cuisine including regional beef, lamb, seafood, fine wines and ales on the voyages, along with award-winning entertainment such as Burn the Floor, a ballroom dance display.

Following her Australian season, Norwegian Jewel will undertake a range of Asian itineraries visiting Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Korea.

The Caribbean and the Canary Islands

Also new for 2017/2018, the Norwegian Pearl will sail seven, eight and nine-night Western Caribbean cruises from New Orleans, from 22nd October 2017 to 1st April 2018.

Ports of call from the Crescent City will include Cozumel in Mexico; Harvest Caye in Belize; and Costa Maya in Mexico.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian Spirit will sail the Canary Islands in November 2017 with departures from Barcelona. The ship will sail a ten night Canary Islands, Spain and Morocco itinerary. Ports of call include Casablanca in Morocco, Les Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
