Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its summer 2013/14 deployment, which sees four ships in Europe, year-round cruises in Hawaii and the Bahamas, plus new Cruisetours in Alaska.

The four Cruisetour options - new for the 2013 summer season in Alaska - offer groups the opportunity to combine a pre or post-cruise land package with Norwegian Sun’s cruises from Whittier, Alaska. Ranging in length from four to six days, the Cruisetours feature two nights in Denali National Park and are fully escorted by a local Alaskan tour guide. Highlights include a stop at an Iditarod sled dog musher’s house, plus with a ride on the Alaskan railroad.

Beginning 18th May 2013, Norwegian Jewel will sail a series of seven-night Sawyer Glacier itineraries from Seattle; while the Norwegian Pearl sails 18 seven-night Glacier Bay itineraries, also from Seattle.

In Europe Norwegian Epic sails seven-night western Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona from 5th May to 13th October 2013; with Norwegian Spirit offering 12-night Grand Mediterranean itineraries from 17th April to 14th October 2013, and 20 nine-night Canary Island Cruises from 26th October.

Norwegian Star makes her debut in the Baltic with a series of 15 nine-night Baltic Capital cruises from Copenhagen, rounding out the season with a 14-night Norway, Iceland and Faroe Island cruise on 19th September 2013. Norwegian Jade returns to Venice for the summer season, before repositioning to Rome for a series of ten-night eastern Mediterranean and 11-night Mediterranean and the Holy Land Itineraries from 26th October to 12th April 2014.
