Date Posted: 11/02/2011

Voyages Jules Verne has created a variety of new itineraries, offering a selection of tours across the globe for departures until April 2012.

Walking enthusiasts and rambling groups can enjoy two new itineraries: the seven-night Walking in Nepal, which takes in the country’s awe-inspiring landscapes with stopovers in Nagarkot, Pokhara and Kathmandu; and Walking The Inca Trail, featuring three nights on the world-famous trail, one at Machu Picchu, and sightseeing time in Lima and Cuzco.

Additional new itineraries for 2011 include China Revealed, an 18-night journey across rural China; Discover Laos & Cambodia, offering an insight into lesser-known Indo-China; Bordeaux & the Rivers of Wine, a seven-night cruise along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers and the Gironde estuary; and Discover Iceland, promoted as a ten-night exploration of the country’s cultural heritage and natural phenomena.

Details of these new itineraries are included in the latest edition of Voyages Jules Verne’s World of Wonders brochure. GTOs planning a tour will also be offered additional advice in the new brochure, including information on the walking content involved in each tour – from one (relaxed walking) to four (strenuous - for seasoned walkers). Overland journey times exceeding three hours will also be detailed.
