Norwegian Star has received dining and entertainment upgrades ahead of its busy summer season sailing the Baltic capitals and Norwegian fjords.

Norwegian Star has opened its first Five O’Clock Somewhere bar which will not only serve signature drinks like the ‘Who’s to Blame® Margarita’ and LandShark Lagers, but will also host nightly live music performances to entertain guests.

Additionally, the ship’s Asian fusion restaurant, Ginza has added more dishes to its menu including traditional Chinese noodles, wok-fried specialties, and dim sum favourites. Plus it now features a new sushi menu developed by sushi chef Yuki Leto. And in a first for the cruise industry, guests can directly pick and choose from four speciality rolls from a moving sushi belt.

Also Norwegian Star has retrofitted O’Sheehan’s Neighbourhood Bar & Grill, a 24-hour complimentary restaurant that serves local traditional pub food in a pub setting.

Furthermore, the ship’s Brazilian-style steakhouse Moderno Churrascaria has been moved to Deck 13 to create a more intimate setting and a Sugarcane Mojito Bar, has been added adjacent to the new restaurant.

Finally, interactive touch screen signs have been installed to enable guests to order specialty items, get directions and reserve dining and shore excursion.
