English Holiday Cruises has announced a new cruise route for 2012, in addition to bigger group discounts for all of its river cruise holidays in the Severn Vale.

The new Midweek Break is a four-day, three-night holiday running along the historic Gloucester-Sharpness Canal. Group passengers will have the chance to enjoy inclusive guided tours of Berkeley Castle, The Ships Graveyard at Purton, and the Wetlands Centre in Slimbridge. Prices start at £270 per person.

Groups can also take advantage of English Holiday Cruises other cruise rates, which include the three-day Unique Weekend; the five-day River Heritage cruise; and the seven-day Full River Cruise holiday.

Enhanced features for 2012 include a range of free guided tours on ever cruise, free-flow tea and coffee, and a cheese platter after every dinner.

Owner of English Holiday Cruises, Richard Clements, commented: “GTOs increasingly recognise that we offer a unique experience for their groups - a high-quality river cruise holiday in England which is more convenient and more affordable than river cruises in Europe.”
