Mystery in Stone at Borde Hill Garden

Date Posted: 22/02/2012

Green-fingered groups visiting Borde Hill Garden in Sussex between the 28th April and 9th September will have the chance to view special exhibition Mystery in Stone.

This exhibition of Zimbabwean stone sculptures has travelled around the world, and now comes to Borde Hill Garden after its show at RHS Garden Hyde Hall last summer. Hand-carved by Shona artists, the sculptures encapsulate the four themes of family, joy, sorrow, and rites of passage; and depict the culture, religious beliefs and political hardships that the artists have endured over the past ten years.

Group travel organisers planning a visit to Borde Hill Garden can pre-book a tour, and discounted admission rates are available for parties of 15 or more people.
