More group discounts at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Date Posted: 21/01/2013

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has announced a new trade discount scheme, which means group travel organisers and coach operators will find further group rates in 2013 and 2014.

Visit frequently for a bigger group discount

The scheme is aimed at organisers who take groups to visit the Dockyard on a regular basis, so you can enjoy greater discounts based on the annual value of booking.

Price reductions start at a 15 per cent discount for bookings less than £5,000 of business, and a 35 per cent discount for those bringing more than £75,000 of bookings.

Highlights at the Docks

Group visitors to Portsmouth can look forward to experiencing Tudor warship, The Mary Rose, as well as the building of a new museum in the spring.

The heritage project aims to construct a museum in which 21st century architecture and a variety of historic artefacts will be showcased.

Visitors can also anticipate continuing work on the Babcock galleries at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, due to open for the centenary of the start of World War One.

Group rates and benefits

Groups visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard can opt for tour itineraries and a tailor-made day out.

Pre-booked groups of 15 or more people are eligible for discount, and the group travel organiser and coach driver enter for free.
