Messing about in boats at Fal River Festival

Groups could get to know a less well-known area of Cornwall, the Fal river and its surrounding area, as well as having some fun at its annual river festival this spring.

Beginning on 22nd May, the ten-day Fal River Festival brings together artistic talent from the worlds of music, theatre, film and literature, alongside themes of activity, adventure, nature, food and drink - all focused around the Fal river.

In its tenth anniversary year, the festival organisers have worked with venues including Falmouth Art Gallery, The National Maritime Museum, Hall For Cornwall and National Trust Trelissick Gardens.

Events will encompass the length and breadth of the river, as it makes its way from Tresillian and Truro, via creeks and inlets, down to Falmouth and St Mawes.
