Mel B To Star In Snow White Pantomime This Christmas %7C Group Theatre News

This Christmas, Mel B – best known for her fame in The Spice Girls – will play the Scary Queen in the pantomime production of Snow White at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.

Snow White will also star Take Me Out host and comedian Paddy McGuinness as Muddles, the court jester, and star of This Morning and Big Brother Rylan

Clark-Neal, who will play the Queen’s henchman.

Strictly Ballroom stars Vincent and Flava will also perform in the show as spirts of the mirror.

As well as the star-studded line-up, Snow White will also include a cast of more than 100 and will boast special effects, 24 foot high fountains, a recreation of a giant castle and aerial acrobatics, which will take place in the make believe Forest of Illumination.

This year will also see the show relayed on a ten metre wide TV screen, allowing groups at the back to also get a good view of the action.

Paddy McGuinness is no stranger to pantomime, having performed in the adult production of Panto’s on Strike alongside Jonathan Wilkes in 2010.

Snow White will be the first time both Mel B and Rylan Clark-Neal ever perform in panto.

The pantomime will run for a limited period of seven performances between the 19th and the 22nd of December.
