Date Posted: 30/08/2012

Running between the 9th and the 11th November, music loving group travel organisers can book a visit to the seventh Tenby Blues Festival.

Held in the Pembrokeshire coastal town of Tenby in Wales, the festival aims to bring together the many strands of blues including traditional and modern, rock ’n roll, and rhythm and blues.

The festival features some leading British blues bands and a sprinkling of international stars.

Artists appearing include:

•    Todd Sharpville at the De Valence with special guest Marcus Bonfanti.
•    The Oli Brown Band
•    Little Toby Walker (pictured above)
•    Grainne Duffy
•    Henry’s Funeral Shoe
•    Matt Woosey
•    Sisters in Grease

Open microphone sessions

A ‘Blues Trail’ around the town will consist of 12 venues and artists all within strolling distance of each other. On Friday and Saturday there will also be late night ‘open mic’ sessions at the Giltar and Fourcroft hotels featuring some of the stars from the programme. Both hotels are also offering accommodation during the festival weekend.

Individual event prices range from £5 to £15, or book a Weekend Rover at £65 per person (earlybird price of £55 available until 30th September), which will allow entry into all events apart from the late night sessions.
