Kent heritage attractions launch joint ticket for groups

Date Posted: 24/12/2011

Kent heritage attractions, The Canterbury Tales and the Canterbury Westgate Towers, have launched a new joint ticket for groups.

Enabling groups to explore Canterbury’s medieval history, the combined experience also includes the option of a costumed character guide, who will meet and greet pre-booked groups, escorting them through The Canterbury Tales attraction and on to Westgate.

Housed in a medieval listed building in the heart of old Canterbury, The Canterbury Tales is based on Chaucer’s famous literary classic, taking visitors on a humorous journey of discovery in a re-creation of 14th century England. Groups can then follow in the footsteps of the thousands of medieval pilgrims who have passed through the Westgate Towers on their way to visit the shrine of Thomas Becket in Canterbury Cathedral.

Available to adult and senior groups, the combined ticket costs £7.75 per person, or £9 per person including a costumed character guide to meet and greet.
