Famed comedian, actor and TV presenter, Jasper Carrott, will return to his roots in his first stand-up tour in 16 years.

Other popular TV comedies include the police spoof The Detectives, and his more recent appearances include his time as the presenter of ITV’s Golden Balls.

Now, in a trip down memory lane, the 69-year old Brummie is once again hitting the road with his Stand Up And Rock tour, in a night of music and comedy that intersperses lyrics with laughs.

He is accompanied by acclaimed legends of rock, including vocalist Geoff Turton of The Rocking Berries, guitarist Trevor Burton, and drummer and lifelong friend, Bev Bevan, who will put their own spin on a blend of classic rock anthems over the course of the night.

The tour will take Jasper to a number of venues across England, including Folkestone, in Kent, in addition to York and Guildford.
