Horse of the Year Show celebrates 65th anniversary year

Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 Horse of the Year Show, which celebrates its 65th anniversary this year, returning to Birmingham’s NEC from 9th to 13th October.

Discounted group rates are available for parties of 12 or more people and group travel organisers are advised to book early after performances sold out in record time in 2012.

Groups can looks forward to an equestrian spectacular, as the Horse of the Year Show, or HOYS, hosts the finals of the most highly regarded national showing and show jumping championships.

There’s also top-class international show jumping plus a full line-up of entertainment.

Children and family groups will have the chance to meet Clydesdale gelding Ted, star of Sally Anne Oultram’s book The Story of Ted, who will appear at the show throughout the week.

Ted can be found in the Think Like a Pony interactive feature area, alongside other rare breeds. Special interest groups will have the chance to get up close to the horses and learn more about different breeds.
