Next year will see a major transformation worth £4.5m at Holkham Hall, in Norfolk, including a new farming exhibition and new visitor facilities.

The redevelopment of the 18th century Palladian hall will see the former stables and pottery buildings transformed into new and improved visitor facilities, including aa new courtyard café and gift shop. .

The former pottery building will be converted into The Lady Elizabeth Wing, providing seating for over 250 guests.

A farming exhibition, Field to Fork, Food and Farming on the Holkham Estate, Past and Present will also take visitors on a journey which will explore the origins of farming at Holkham.

The exhibition will will feature the use of audio, visual, interactive, film and objects.

Holkham Hall will be open to visitors between 20th March until 31st October 2016. The renovations should be in place by the middle of summer.
