Heartbreak Hotel at The Jetty

Date Posted: 19/05/2015

This summer The Jetty, Greenwich, will be converted into the Heartbreak Hotel as part of an interactive theatre experience.

From 2nd June until 30th August, guests will be able to “check in” to the Heartbreak Hotel, an immersive theatre experience.

The production will be staged at the Jetty, a new arts venue which offers live music, a pop-up cocktail bar, street food and river side views across the Thames.

After audiences arrive at the concierge desk opposite North Greenwich tube station they will walk to The Jetty where they can explore a utopia for lost souls and interact with the mysterious characters who reside within its walls.

The show is produced by Managing Mayhem and Zebedde Productions who are establishing a reputation for developing avant-garde events such as the 2014 production The Boy Who Climbed Out of His Face.

Zoe Wellman of Zebedee Productions said, "Audience members are in for an emotional rollercoaster as we explore what it means to be Heartbroken, and the lengths people will go to overcome it.  Unlike other immersive productions, where you have to hunt for the narrative, we bring the story to you.”
