Harewood House in Leeds has unveiled three new group tours for the 2011 season: the Jacob Epstein - Finding Adam Tour; Lasses and Ladies: Women at Harewood Tour; and Medieval Harewood.

The Jacob Epstein - Finding Adam Tour, available between the 26th April and 31st July, will be led by exhibitions curator Kerry Harker, providing a personal insight into Harewood’s new Finding Adam exhibition, as Epstein’s Adam returns to the historic house from the Royal Academy of Arts. Groups can learn about Sir Jacob Epstein, recognised as one of the most controversial sculptors of the 20th century, and his influence on modern British art.

The one and a half hour Lasses and Ladies Tour, led by a house steward, celebrates the role of women in the Leeds country house, highlighting the lives and achievements of its female occupants, from mistresses and governesses to cooks and scullery-maids.

Medieval Harewood promises to transport groups even further back in time. Led by tour guide Sue Sharpe, groups will learn about the vast Harewood Estate before the construction of Harewood House, which consisted of Medieval manor - Gawthorpe Hall, the 14th century Harewood Castle and a 15th century church.

A minimum group size of 15 is required for each tour.
