Guided tours at the Royal Courts of Justice

This summer, the National Centre for Citizenship and the Law will be delivering guided tours of the Royal Courts of Justice.

From July 20th, groups will be able to learn about the history of the British legal system by visiting the Royal Courts of Justice on an guided tour.

Led by an expert, visitors will receive an insight into the English and Welsh justice system through anecdotes and through access to the courtrooms, which have hosted some of the most famous cases in London’s history.

The guides will also discuss the design of the building and how social class influenced the architecture of the courts.

Tours last approximately one hour and include the Great Hall, Costume Gallery and Painted Room.

Tours must be pre-booked.
