This summer, Nutbourne Vineyard will be opening its doors to the public in celebration of English Wine week in May and June.
The event will allow groups to explore the vineyards at Nutbourne Vineyard in East Sussex and will give visitors the opportunity to taste wine in the Nutbourne windmill as well as purchase both still and sparkling wines.
Groups will also be able to take a guided tour around the vineyard from the Gladwin Brothers, who also own The Shed and Rabbit restaurants in London.
On these tours, groups will be able to see the full process of making wine – from grape, to the vine, bottle and finally to the tables of The Shed and Rabbit.
English Wine Week takes place between Saturday 28th May and Sunday 5th June.
About the Gladwin family
The Nutbourne Vineyard is a family run wine producer that has been making both still and sparkling wines since vines were first planted at Nutbourne in 1980.
The Gladwin family has owned the estate since 991 and has currently grows seven different varieties of grape.
The Shed is the Gladwin brothers’ first restaurant and was opened in October 2012 at Notting Hill, later followed by the Rabbit restaurant which opened at King’s Road in September 2014.

English Wine Week was launched to raise awareness of English wines across the country.
Supermarkets, independent wine merchants, delicatessens, hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants will all be taking part, and vineyards around the country will be welcoming visitors and offering tours, tastings and special offers.
English Wine Week has revealed that, as of 2015, there are 470 vineyards in the English wine industry, with a total of more than 2,000 total hectares under vine.
