Group Leisure partners with Excursions exhibition for second year

Group Leisure has confirmed that it will be the main media partner for the annual Excursions exhibition, organised by Tourism South East, for the second year running.

Excursions 2017 will take place on Saturday 28th January at Alexandra Palace in north London and bring together exhibitors from the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe to meet with group organisers and travel planners.

Group Leisure will keep readers informed on Excursions’ developments throughout the year and produce the official preview to the one day show.

Nigel Smith, chief executive of Tourism South East said: “It is great to have Group Leisure back on board again as the main media partner for Excursions – its involvement for the first time in 2016 enabled us to talk to a new audience and feedback from our exhibitors showed that all round this resulted in a much better return from the show.

Rob Yandell, publisher of Group Leisure, also commented: “We’re really pleased to be working with Tourism South East again to promote the Excursions exhibition. It was interesting exhibiting at the show for the first time back in January and we all enjoyed meeting readers and advertisers, while also finding out about new launches and products that groups can enjoy.”

The Excursions 2017 event is set to have a new look and feel and will also be adding themed sections devoted to Christmas markets and food and drink.

The geographical areas which the exhibition is known for will be retained and feature attractions, destinations, accommodation providers and tour operators showcasing their latest group products.
