Ghostly Gaslight at Blists Hill open to groups

Date Posted: 05/08/2015

Groups are invited to dress up in scary costumes and go along to the Ghostly Gaslight Halloween event at Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge in Shropshire on 31st October.

The living history museum will be transformed for the event. Lights and sound effects will change the town’s peaceful streets into shadowy walkways where ghostly characters lurk. The buildings will be illuminated and a firework show and pyrotechnic effects will take place too.

The Sundial Theatre Company will be performing scenes from the story of Sweeny Todd, the fictional Victorian murdering barber, in a new addition to this year’s event.

Groups of 15 or more will save ten per cent on the ticket price of Ghostly Gaslight. GTOs should contact the group visits officer on 01952-435900 or e-mail visits@ironbridge.org.uk.
