PIctured: Rila Monastery in Bulgaria

Brightwater Holidays, specialists in escorted garden tours, has announced its new tours for next year which include UK and European destinations.

Group holidays to a number of garden locations have been released by the company for 2013.

Island hopping in the southern Hebrides

A sequence of short ferry crossings will take your group to a range of islands, beginning on the Isle of Bute - with a visit to Mount Stuart, followed by two days on the Isle of Mull where the tour takes in Tobermory, then the islands of Staffa and Iona.

The ‘bridge over the Atlantic’ will lead groups to the islands of Seil and Easdale while a boat trip allows a glimpse of the uninhabited Garvellachs. The island of Gigha completes the tour.

Bulgarian archaeology

The Bulgarian trip will transport groups to a wide range of well-preserved archaeological sites, five of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Girona Flower Festival

The Girona Flower Festival is described as one of the most colourful springtime events in Europe, with vibrant floral displays filling this attractive old Catalan city.

In addition to a full day at the festival, the tour will include visits to the surrounding area, including trips to some gardens and a day in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

Brightwater Holidays can provide bespoke travel arrangements for group travel organisers, and is happy to offer sample itineraries and quotes.

Details of all of Brightwater Holidays’ tours, including the above, are in its new spring 2013 brochure.
