Exhibiting now at Barley Hall in York is From Hamlet to Hollywood: Fashion from Film, running until May 2012. Visiting groups can explore the changes in fashion from Tudor times to the early 20th century, through this display of costumes worn by stars of stage and screen.

Costumes featured include those worn by Cate Blanchett, Colin Firth, Helena Bonham-Carter, Daniel Radcliffe, Elizabeth Taylor, Heath Ledger, and others from the multi-award winning motion pictures The King's Speech, Sense and Sensibility, and The Duchess, as well as television dramas Lark Rise to Candleford, Pride and Prejudice, Downton Abbey and Cranford.
