Fred. Olsen offers new themed cruises with a twist

Date Posted: 16/12/2014

Superbikes, the Highland Games and flowers inspire the trips in Fred. Olsen’s latest brochure.

The Great British Sail Away showcases a collection of ex- UK cruises that have unique themes tied into their routes, excursions and even the guest speaker line-up.

The Floral Britannia cruise, for example, takes passengers to the likes of Falmouth, where they can visit the Eden Project; Rosyth, where they can explore the Royal Botanical Gardens; and Newcastle, where they can embark on a tour of the Poison Garden at Alnwick Castle.

The guest speaker on this cruise, which begins on 28th April, will be gardening journalist Adam Pascoe.

Superbikes and Scenic Hikes is another example of one of Fred. Olsen’s new themed cruises. One of the highlights of this trip is a stop in Douglas on the Isle of Man that coincides with the world famous TT race. One of the shore excursions includes entry to the Noble Park Fanzone that’s trackside.

Fred. Olsen takes group bookings for its themed cruises and parties of certain sizes are eligible for group perks, too.
