Explore the Mediterranean with Swan Hellenic

Swan Hellenic’s 2016 winter season on board the Minerva will give groups the chance to explore the Mediterranean, including 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites and cities. 

The Aegean Classics cruise, departing on 2nd November 2016, will make four port calls along Turkey’s Lycian coast to give groups the chance to explore the ruins of Ephesus, Miletus and Didyma.

The Fiestas de Navidad cruise, will include a maiden call at the UNESCO-listed port, Tarragona on the north eastern coast of Spain, which is home to Roman ruins and an ancient amphitheatre.

Groups can sail along the Kotor fjord and spend a night in the UNESCO-listed city, Dubrovnik as part of the 13-night Adriatic Coasts to Venice cruise, which culminates in Venice. 

The Gateway to Atlantic Isles cruise offers a packed 15 days calling at ports in France, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Madeira and the Canary Islands, with the chance to visit the UNESCO-listed Carcassonne, the Moorish Alhambra Palace in Granada and the city of Portimao.

Finally, the Volcanic Islands and Vistas cruise, in partnership with RHS Garden Holidays, will allow groups to discover each of the Canary Islands and Madeira, as well as learn about the diverse geology of the region with guest speaker and volcanologist Dr Peter Cattermole.
