The Cheapside Hoard: London’s Lost Jewels

In October, a major new exhibition investigating the secrets of the Cheapside Hoard will open at the museum.

Running from 11th October until the 27th April 2014, The Cheapside Hoard: London’s Lost Jewels consists of a priceless cache of late 16th and early 17th century jewels and gemstones

The hoard, which was discovered buried in a cellar on Cheapside in the City of London in 1912, will be displayed in its entirety for the first time in over 100 years.

Admission charges apply. Parties of ten or more people can book for a curator talk, and will receive a 20 per cent group discount on exhibition entry when booked in advance.
