St Peter Port

Details for the Guernsey Food Festival, which combines a number of special foodie themed events, have been announced.

The ten-day festival, which will take place between 16th and 24th September on the Island of Guernsey, includes a number of events.

What to expect

During the opening weekend of the festival, Crown Pier in St Peter Port will host more than 40 food and drink stalls, showcasing a range of Guernsey produce including locally distilled gin, fruit liqueur, artisan chilli sauces and preserves, goat’s cheese, oysters and crab.

One of the events taking place during Guernsey Food Festival is Guernsey Cocktail Week, between 16th and 24th September. During this celebration, leading cocktail bars will be offering visitors a creative menu of cocktails, featuring on-island produced Haut Maison fruit liqueurs, Wheadon's Gin and Blackdown Artisan Spirits.

Guernsey Afternoon Tea Week will also be happening from 15th to 23th September. A number of restaurants and hotels across Guernsey will be offering a selection of afternoon tea offers, with some including champagne and cocktails, as well as tasty sweet treats.

Also taking place on 16th and 17th September will be Live Food Shows during which top chefs will prepare their favourite dishes live on stage in the main festival marquee on St Peter Port's Crown Pier.

Other events include Dinner with Andrej Prokes, Guernsey V Jersey Food Challenge, White Rock Brewery and Rocquette Cider Open Days, and the Children's Food Festival.
