The award-winning English National Ballet will bring a series of critically acclaimed productions to UK stages over the course of the year.

From popular classics to commemorations of the centenary of the First World War, English National Ballet’s 2015 schedule will bring an array of performances to theatres up and down the country.

The season kicks off in September at London’s Sadler Wells with a poignant reflection of World War One, Lest We Forget, which returns after great success at the Barbican, and features three shows: Dust, Second Breath and No Man’s Land.

In a national tour running from 14th October to 28th November, English National Ballet will also take on Rudolf Nureyev’s award-winning Romeo & Juliet, which was originally created for The Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977.

A two-week run of Le Corsaire will follow, with the swashbuckling fantasy production featuring sets and costumes by Hollywood designer Bob Ringwood, whose film credits include Batman and Troy.

December, meanwhile, will see the return of the festive classic Nutcracker to London Coliseum, while March next year will see the Emerging Dancer competition and My First Ballet: Sleeping Beauty strike the West End.

The season will draw to its close next summer with She Said in April and Swan Lake in-the-round performing at the Royal Albert Hall during June.
