Dressed by Angels exhibition to open this autumn

Dressed by Angels, an interactive exhibition featuring costumes from the world of TV, film and theatre, will open at The Old Truman Brewery in London on 2nd October 2015.

Visitors will discover the story behind Angels Costumiers, which, for 175 years has been dressing actors and actresses, including those in Oscar award-winning films, and Olivier and Tony award-winning theatre.

Fred Astaire, Laurence Olivier, Judi Dench and Meryl Streep have all had costumes made by Angel Costumiers and groups will get the chance see these bespoke outfits.

Costumes from films including Titanic, Indiana Jones, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Star Wars and TV shows Morecambe and Wise, Only Fools & Horses and Downton Abbey will also be on show at the exhibition.

Dressed by Angels will have digital games, interactive media displays and a workshop room where visitors can learn the craft of costume progress, from design to finished product.

The exhibition runs until 3rd January 2016. Discounts are available for groups of eight or more.
