Dinosaurs Bite Back at Chester Zoo

Date Posted: 18/01/2012

Groups can get up close to prehistoric beasts in a new interactive exhibition opening at Chester Zoo this spring. Featuring 19 life-like animatronic dinosaurs, Dinosaurs Bite Back! is an atmospheric outdoor trail, open from 1st April until 4th November.

Boasting realistic movement and sounds, the dinosaurs on display will include the giant Brachiosaurus, the Stegosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus Rex - one of the most feared land predators of all time.

The family-friendly exhibition will also feature ‘dinosaur keepers’ who will be on-hand to teach group members all about the zoo’s latest inhabitants. Promising a highly interactive experience, Dinosaurs Bite Back! aims to explore how dinosaurs are related to the species roaming the Earth today.

The dinosaur trail is free of charge with normal zoo admission. Parties of 15 or more people planning a visit to Chester Zoo are entitled to discounted group rates.
