Crystal Cruises has revealed the company’s expansion plans which will see a river cruise line, luxury air travel, and new yacht and ocean vessel cruises added to its offerings from late 2015.

Crystal Yacht Cruises

The Crystal Yacht Cruises programme will debut at the end of this year as the Crystal Esprit explores the Seychelles Islands, followed by an inclusive, post-cruise New Year's Eve celebration at the Taj Dubai Hotel.

The Crystal Esprit, a 62-passenger, 3,300 tonne yacht, will feature a two-passenger submarine and a 12-pasenger 32-foot super yacht, as well as water skis, kayaks and snorkel equipment for guests to use.

The 2016, 2017, and early 2018 routes for the Crystal Esprit will include the Seychelles Islands, Dubai and the Adriatic Coast.

Crystal River Cruises

Crystal River Cruises will debut in the spring of 2017 as the company explores worldwide river cruising on board its all-inclusive boats.

Crystal Luxury Air

Crystal Luxury Air will launch in 2017 to offer groups the chance to board the company’s own modified Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Traditionally seating 300, the aircraft has been designed to fly 60 guests in fully reclining business class seats.

Itineraries will last approximately 28-days and include ten to 12 stops at locations across the world. Passengers will be able to relax in top hotels and resorts, enjoy cuisine prepared by celebrity chefs and experience cultural entertainment.

Crystal Exclusive Class ocean vessels

Crystal Cruises has also revealed details about the company’s three new Crystal Exclusive Class cruise ships, expected to sail from late 2018.

The all-suite, all balcony ships will accommodate 1,000 guests and weigh more than 100,000 gross tonnes.

The ship will feature the new concept of Crystal Residences. Found on the top deck, the 48 unique ‘homes’, will have their own private restaurant, reception and facilities, as well as nine foot high ceilings. The residences will start at 600 square feet and go to more than 4,000 square feet of interior living area.

1,000 crew members on each ship will provide a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio as Crystal Cruises looks to raise the bar on personal attention and service. Amenities including submarines, helicopters and zodiacs will be on offer for guests to enjoy.
