Cruise %26 Maritime Voyages' Columbus

Cruise & Maritime Voyages has revealed its 2017 cruise programme, which will include cruises onboard the new flagship, Columbus, to destinations such as Amsterdam and the Fjords.

New itineraries

Itineraries for Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ 2017 programmes include sailings to Norway’s Fjordland, the British Isles, Baltic Cities & St Petersburg, and Iceland.

Groups can also opt for cruises heading to the Canary Islands and Madeira, as well as those that tie in with European city breaks.

There are also a number of overnight taster cruises in December this year for GTOs who might not have taken their group on a cruise before. Visitors can step aboard the Magellan or Marco Polo to view their facilities and cabins, sample the cuisine and enjoy some entertainment.

Magellan will be at the London Cruise Terminal, Tilbury, and Marco Polo will be at the Bristol Cruise Terminal, Avonmouth, both in December.

New sailings

The 2017 cruise programme will boast new sailings from Wales, departing from Newport and Cardiff, as well as additional sailings from Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool and Bristol.

There will also be sailings from Belfast and Dublin, so group travel organisers have plenty of choice when choosing where to depart from.

A new flagship

The Cruise & Maritime Voyages five vessel fleet – made up of Magellan, Marco Polo, Astoria and Astor – will be joined by Columbus, which will undertake its first cruise on 11th June 2017 that will take the form of a mini-cruise to Amsterdam and Antwerp.

The new vessel will have 13 decks, carry 1,400 guests, and feature 775 passenger cabins including 64 deluxe balcony cabins and junior suites.

Columbus, which will become the cruise company’s new flagship, will sail from London Tilbury alongside Magellan and Astoria.

Deals for groups

GTOs booking a cruise holiday with Cruise & Maritime Voyages will get one free place when 20 passengers are booked and two free places when 40 passengers are booked. Groups can also benefit from an extra five per cent discount for bookings of 12 or more people.
