Croisieurope’s new Canary Island route and 2012 cruise programme

Date Posted: 14/07/2011

Croisieurope’s MS Belle l’Adriatique is to sail the Canary Island Archipelago this winter season, covering six islands in eight days on a new route for the cruise operator.

Visiting Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, El Hierro, La Palma and La Gomera, and aiming to provide an authentic look at the area, the cruise programme is promoted as a discovery tour of six of the seven islands within the archipelago, giving passengers a greater insight into inner island life. An onboard lecturer will be on hand to share stories about the great explorers, including Christopher Columbus, who used the islands as essential stopping places during the 16th and 17th centuries.

Then in July and August 2012 the MS Belle de l’Adriatique is scheduled to sail in the Cyclades - secret islands in the Aegean Sea between Greece and Turkey - visiting Athens, Delos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, Rhodes, Kos, and Bodrum. The ship will then return to its homeport of Dubrovnik from September to October next year for traditional cruises around the Dalmatian Islands, visiting Mljet, Korcula, Sibenik, Trogir, Split, Hvar, Vis and Kotor.

Croisieurope’s full cruise programme for 2012 is available online as detailed below.
