Christmas market holidays on the continent

Diamond Rail Holidays has launched three new four-day European itineraries for Christmas market holidays this winter. 

Groups travelling with Diamond will visit Christmas markets in historic towns and cities in Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, where Christmas gifts can be bought and seasonal food and drink enjoyed. Have a read of the following Christmas market breaks on offer.

The Liège, Valkenburg and Aachen Christmas markets tour will start at the Liège Christmas Village in Belgium before visiting the spa town of Aachen in Germany and Valkenburg in the Netherlands. Groups will finish their holiday back in Liège where they can experience the Disneyland Paris Ice Dreams festival. The tour departs on 7th December.

For the Medieval Bruges and Christmas markets trip groups will find themselves in the heart of the city and can enjoy the Belgian chocolates and beer on offer. Departing on the 29th November and 6th December, you can take a visit to the Tyne Cot Cemetery, the largest British war cemetery in the world as well as a guided tour around the Half Moon Brewery.

The Highlights of Paris and Christmas markets itinerary combines visiting the festive markets with a city tour that includes the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées and The Louvre. Trips depart on 27th November and 4th December.
